C5 classrooms are rich with plant life. Lush ferns, living branches, hanging vines, and colorful daisies greet families and friends alike. Therefore, they need much TLC. Our children are willing and capable of taking care of their classroom’s plant needs, beginning with basic watering. Re-potting plants, adding plant food, taking a reading for soil moisture, and researching plant care and maintenance through books and computers are all part of facilitating the children’s interest in keeping their plants healthy and happy.
